Meet the Editors
Meet our editors, classes 3-4 through 7-8. Our Falcon Journal Editing Team works together to assure the release of an edition for the school each semester!
Eva Frye (12)
Editor in Chief
Being an editor has taught me many important life skills such as leadership and time management. I have loved getting to work with my peers to create publications for my fellow students. A fun fact about me is that I love to go to the beach to swim, surf, run, or hangout with friends!
Bella Esparza (12)

The I love journalism because it is a safe space to have semi-sensitive discussions about the real world, without feeling judged. Being an editor has majorly improved my writing and made me realize what I want to do in life. I have a passion for listening, writing and playing many genres of music!

The thing I like most about this class is getting to see all of the writers grow and become more confident in themselves and their writing abilities. It's also nice to see everyone's hard work come together at the end of the year in one complete collection. A fun fact about me is that I'm planning to be a radiologist.

I love having the ability to read and edit so many different articles, they are all structured differently and it's a privilege to see. A fun fact about me is that I'm going on to study Journalism in college at Arizona State University!

I love the environment specifically. Its pretty casual and we were all very friendly with each other but when we need to lock in and work the product is always amazing. A fun fact about me is that I love whale sharks, and want to be a marine biologist after college.

Its cool seeing and editing different people's perspectives and writing styles. A fun fact about myself is that cars is my favorite movie.

This class has improved my writing skills and bettered my ability to differentiate between real reporting and misleading/biased reporting. A fun fact about me is that I like to rock climb.

I like how the class is student ran and it feels like a very safe and interactive atmosphere. A fun fact about me is that I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Writing is one of the most prominent ways people communicate to each other. In other words, writing is our connection to each other. Journalism allows me to explore and relate this concept to all facets of my life. A fun fact about me is that mustard is my favorite condiment!

I like reading the articles and being a part of the creative process. A fun fact about me is that I play volleyball, and my favorite place to be is at the beach. To me, the most enjoyable subject is writing.

I really enjoy reading all of the journalism 1-2 writer's work and it has been a pleasure to see all of their ideas and writing styles. I have been able to improve my own writing as well, and I really enjoy how the class is student run. A fun fact about me is that I own pet birds, two cockatiels named Tofu and Mochi.

I enjoy being an editor because it allows me to help fellow students with their writing capabilities on a more personal level. Working on the website always presents its challenges, but it's so rewarding when your final product looks the way you want it to! A fun fact about me is that I love to ski!
